The bodies through which  operates include:
The Assembly: Composed of all members, this is the governing body where the questions inherent to the Association’s activities are discussed and decided upon.
The Chairman, Vice President-Treasurer and Board of Directors: Elected by the Assembly from among the members, they represent the group and propose its strategies and lines of action.
Work Groups: Established by crops and areas of activity, they discuss the specific problems affecting each sector and define strategies:
1. Horticultural crops
2. Extensive crops (hybrids; industrial; cereals; fodder and grass)
3. Fruits
4. New technologies
Horizontal Committees: Composed of the representatives from all of the work groups, their mission is to analyse and discuss the most serious problems currently affecting the plant breeding sector in Spain:
1. Intellectual property
2. Registers and regulation
3. Phytosanitary treatments
4. Biotechnology
The Secretary General: is responsible for the effective direction and management of the Association and executing the resolutions passed by the General Assembly, the Board of Directors, Work Groups and Horizontal Committees.
The Legal, Technical and Administrative Departments: in coordination with GESLIVE (plant breeders association for the defence of intellectual property rights), it is composed of professionals who provide the technical, legal and administrative services required by anove members.
